ZestFest 2019: Discovering the Future of Life at Home

The Global Centre for Modern Ageing® was delighted to host six interactive sessions at Tonsley Innovation District as part of ZestFest 2019.

Our GCMA researchers worked alongside 30 older South Australians to reimagine and design the future of life at home. We will be collating the insights gathered to share them with participants. They will also be shared with industry, to inspire the development of products and solutions that can better meet the needs of people as they age.

During the lunch break, attendees enjoyed a delicious spread from Three Little Pods, learnt more about the history of Tonsley on a private walking tour and experienced driverless technology in an Aurrigo autonomous vehicle.

Our heartfelt thanks to all who participated in this wonderful day.

Below is a small selection of images from talented photographer James Knowler. If you’d like to join us for a future event, sign up to become a GCMA co-designer.
